Long harvest days
Long harvest days left me with a deep appreciation of nature.
You are part of it. Watching from your glass cage, the sun moves over the paddock, birds hovering outside your tractor window, clouds form and threaten rain. Heat and wind build up to the point of being dangerous and we’d have to stop working.
My favourite time of the day was as the shadows crept longer and you were surrounded by other stunning Wimmera sunset.
The feeling of being hugged by summer warmth, the fine layer of dust itching your skin and the e golden light wrapping around you, still leaves me feeling content.
The golden hour.
These are the kinds of images we want to share. The feeling of a day’s work hard won. Capturing how kids’ faces light up in the paddock as it’s the first time they‘ve seen dad all week. Capturing the pride, the joy and the beauty of farming. It's not just about creating content; it's about showcasing the extraordinary beauty and charm of rural living.
